Sacher's sweetest child, Franz Sacher, created in 1832 the World famous 'Sacher Torte' for Wenzl Clemens, Prince Metternich, at the age of sixteen, while he was apprentice at the kitchen brigade of the Prince. Today, 'Sacher' evokes not only this delicious dessert, but the mythical hotel located at the heart of the romantic city of Vienna. Located in front of the Vienna Opera House, the hotel is a unique location for the sweetest day of the couple's life: their wedding.
Couples staying at the hotel Sacher can celebrate their official civil marriage or a romantic 'Fantasy Wedding' in the magnificent salons at 'Sacher'.
