Schmetterlinghaus

The historical “Schemtterlinghaus” (Butterfly House) is located in the heart of Vienna, at a short walking distance from the Opera Theatre. Hundreds of live free-flying, tropical butterflies, in a natural rain forest environment, is the magical frame for a romantic marriage in Vienna. The building is a magnificent sample of a greenhouse, as a part of the Imperial Palace Hofburg.
The marriage ceremony is performed by an officer of the Register and it has civil effects.
